A couple weeks ago one of my best friends, Leigh Anna and her fiancé, Bagby, came to visit us. Once they got to our house on Saturday, we headed down to Turner Field to watch our beloved Braves take on the Washington Nationals! We tailgated and drank a few beers before heading into the game. One of the most exciting parts of the game happened in the 7th….during the 7th inning stretch, a man in a wedding dress jumped onto the warning track and started sprinting across the field holding a bouquet of flowers. He got half-way across the field and was tackled by the security guards, it was hilarious! The whole stadium cheered for him as they carried him off the field, too bad he had to spend the night in jail though. Even though the Braves lost, we had a ton of fun at the game!
After the game, there was a B52’s post game concert. The band had a ton of energy and got people dancing. We of course stayed until we heard Love Shack, which was at the end, and then we headed home. The next morning we woke up and made breakfast and then Leigh Anna and Bagby headed back to Birmingham. We had such a nice visit! I look forward to seeing Leigh Anna again in a few weeks for her Bachelorette party in Nashville, TN!
